Absolutely amazing!! Every detail about this meal was perfect!! Went to celebrate my grandparents 50th anniversary, my first time there. Service: Incredibly professional, all staff were well dressed and attentive, made it really feel like a fine dining experience. When a bottle of wine was ordered, server was very extraordinary in presenting it. Always asked before reaching across, clearing plates, etc. Added rose petals and a nice handwritten card that read "Happy Anniversary!" in nice cursive to the table right before we were seated. Food: Some of the best I've ever had, complimentary warm bread and spiced butter were served shortly, great taste and texture. My favorite item of the night was the yellowtail sashimi appetizer, what really made this special was the extremely flavorful ponzu sauce it was in very salty, slightly sour and spicy, I was blown away. My entree was the norweigan salmon and it was cooked perfectly, with a sweet and earthy glaze, vegetables under were also done well. All food had beautiful presentation. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food immensely. Price: I was satisfied with the cost of the food, felt it matched the quality of the food and experience, portions were a good size. Ambiance: Tables were nicely dressed, we were outdoors at night with adequate heaters, my grandparents were still chilly and the staff provided them with a blanket and also turned up the heater near them, very accommodating. We were directly over the ocean, incredible view of water and the town. 100% recommend for a special occasion or just a great dinner!! (sorry for bad photos, it was very dark)

Our new Christmas Eve tradition. This trip was simply the best food experience in quite some time. We had early reservations, which is the way to go, and sat outside the lounge. The beauty of Eddie V's is they have great live music. We went family-style and enjoyed oysters, perfectly cooked salmon, a few harissa carrots, and lobster mashed in between. (Rebecca was great at spacing the food.) We enjoyed smoked old fashion to a new Dave Phinney ( Prisoner fame ) We ended the meal with berries and cream. Everything was spot on.

We went here for a dinner with some vendors, and I was pleasantly surprised. The smoked old fashioned was delicious and perfectly balancgoodthe service was great , and there was no time where we were left wanting. As for the food, the sea food platter was pretty standard but everything was very fresh. The lobster bisque was a little light on lobster I didn't find any actual lobster pieces. The new your strip was perfectly cooked, though now my favorite cut of meat. The dessert was absolutely delicious. All in all it was a nice dining experience and I would go again.

Eddie V came through with an amazing service and food. Their Chilean sea bass Hong Kong style is an absolute must-try. Perfectly steamed and served on a layer of spinach and pickled ginger in soy broth. The sea bass has a melt-in-your-mouth texture. However, the complimentary loaf of bread had a hard crust. The server only brought a tiny plate of butter for 7 people which was a hassle to share. The ambiance is modern and inviting, with attentive service that makes you feel relaxed. We celebrated two birthdays here and they gave us complimentary dessert plus a few extra cookie-like brownies for the whole table to try.

What a beautiful restaurant. We were luck enough to sit on the patio in the evening and see the beautiful ocean view. We came for our ten year wedding anniversary and the awesome staff put out a cute sign and rose petals! Such a sweet touch and it made the experience that much more special. The steak and lobster are always cooked to perfection. I have been to many steak houses but nobody does it better than Eddie V's. Doesn't even matter which location. The lobster fried rice is heavenly! I literally eat it until it hurts lol! But always save room for the banana foster butter cake!! It's soooooo good!! Thank you Eddie V's for a consistent amazing experience.

Spectacular service! Morgan is the best waiter ever! My best friend and I came here to celebrate our birthdays and we're treated like queens! Our table was decorated, and we also had a birthday card sitting at the table from the restaurant. As we sat down, we were greeted with two glasses of champagne for our birthdays. Love it! We had outside seating right in front of the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. Of course we were experiencing the best San Diego weather. It wasn't too cold or too warm. We ordered the calamari for appetizer, delicious! We also ordered the salmon and the fillet special with asparagus and au gratin potatoes. Everything tasted delicious and was seasoned perfectly. We were surprised with two desserts for our birthdays. we got their famous bananas, foster and some double chocolate chip cookies. The table service, and the lighting of the bananas foster was amazing. The bananas Foster was delicious and you could totally taste the rum my all-time favorite dessert here! I've been here many times for my birthday, but today was ultimately the best. It gets better and better every single time! Parking here could be challenging. There also is valet. But the view and the service is definitely worth it. I will definitely be back!

After much convincing due to my last experience here, I decided to join my coworkers and give Eddie V's at Seaport Village another try...and I am glad I did because this time, Eddie V's took a 180. I started off with the ahi tuna tartare, which was probably my favorite dish here. The avocado was perfectly ripe, the ahi was fresh and finely chopped and marinade, and the mango sauce at the base of it was simply to die for. I soaked up every inch of it with the fresh, hot bread that was served at the table. The garden salad (although nothing extraordinary) was also fresh and perfectly dressed with a light vinaigrette. The filet mignon this round was better, though not great. Again, cooked below a medium (which I had asked for, got more of a medium rare), but still tasted good. My cut also had a lot of fat in it, which was difficult to chew through some pieces. Enjoyed it with asparagus this time and opted to skip the potato gratin, which still is mostly cheese/butter/cream -- very dense. I was mostly pleased by how attentive and efficient the waiters were this time around. I wish I knew their names, but I made sure to express my gratitude in person and passed on my feedback to the manager (Melissa?) and the girl at the front desk. Glasses of water were always full, and the waiters were so friendly and on top of things. I finished the night enjoying the live band while sitting at the bar. Will have to come back another night to enjoy a cocktail. Very pleasantly surprised and satisfied by my experience this round. Big thanks to the staff who ran the show tonight!

Simply spectacular!!! Everything was top notch. The food, the service, the music all very special. We dined here last Saturday for my friends 47th birthday, everybody was happy with the food, plus the ladies bathroom is super clean.

Amazing! Great service and vibes. Perfect place to go for a celebratory dinner. Food is always on point. Nothing but great things to say. One of my favorite restaurants in SD! Highly reccommend!! Pro tip- request to sit at the high top/bar area for live music. Not sure when they have live music but it was there when we went on a Friday!
